Sharing, Learning & Growing

Then they said to him, ďWhat must we do to perform the works of God?Ē Jesus answered them, ďThis is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.Ē —John 6:28-29

Adult ministries provide opportunities to study the word of God, share the experience together in a small group context, to serve Christ, and to experience each other in fellowship and fun. Opportunities for adult interaction include:

   • Adult Sunday School Classes
   • Brown Bag Bible Study every Wednesday
   • Small Group Classes and Circles
   • Fellowship Breakfasts and Brunches
   • Special Trips and Events

The purpose of St. Paulís Women's Ministries is to promote spiritual growth with Jesus Christ, to encourage one another as women, and to provide opportunities for service. Our primary vehicle for this purpose is the United Methodist Women. Some of the UMW projects:

   • Annual Pledge to Worldwide Missions
   • Member Care, particularly for our shut-ins
   • Local Missions Support
   • Scholarships for United Methodist Students
   • Local Senior Citizensí Club
   • School of Christian Mission

Our men enjoy ongoing and special opportunites to join together to study God's word and His plan for their lives, become better acquainted with each other, and have fun. It is men reaching out to men in an environment of encouragement, challenge, and service. Menís projects include:

   • Men's Sunday School Class
   • Christian Menís Bowling League
   • Occasional Menís Choir

For grades 7 through 12, our youth fellowship seeks to expose young people to the gospel of Jesus Christ in order that their lives may be renewed. Youth Group is an opportunity for teens to connect with peers, grow in faith and extend Godís love to others. Through study, games and service, their ability to love as Jesus loves is strengthened.

For more information on Youth Group, email our Youth Director.

We also hold Confirmation Classes to teach our youth about the rights and responsibilities of being a United Methodist. Once completed, they are confirmed into full membership in our congregation.

Small Groups

Various small groups at St. Paul's minister to the specific needs of our members.

Anchor Class
Missions and learning are the focus of this women's group. Their soup sales and Wendy's Night fund raisers support missions all over the world.

These ladies have long been the backbone of the church, making sure that all our projects and ministries keep going. They provide food baskets and clothing, prepare and serve church suppers, and donate to various good causes.

Guiding Lights
This group of younger women has grown together as their children have grown. They participate in all the projects of the church, working hard to keep all our ministries vital and alive.

Young Adult Couples
The energy, enthusiasm, and faith of this group is a great resource to St. Paul's. They meet occasionally to study and socialize, focusing on marriage and child rearing in Christ's light.
