We Love to Sing!
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord, O my soul!
I will praise the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praises to my God all my life long.
Music is a very powerful ministry, and we work hard to make the music in our church lift, enrich, and inspire. We believe in Christ-centered music, fellowship, friendship and most importantly, the sharing of the gospel of Christ through music in worship. Music speaks a universal language and facilitates real Christian celebration.
It is our hope that our music provides a way for people to connection with Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Everyone who participates in our music ministry is challenged to grow in Christ and to experience God's unconditional love through the love of music that we all share.
No matter what your age or ability - we have opportunities for you to be involved in the music ministry at Saint Paul United Methodist Church!
The Archangel Choir is our adult choir, open to high school and older. Participation is a unique opportunity for growth and spiritual development through singing. We sing a wide variety of sacred music at our worship service each Sunday, September through May. Music from classical to modern will nurture your faith. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Call our director, Janet Brown, for more information.
The Children's Choir is open to all Sunday School kids. The children love to sing, and their songs are fun and heartwarming. They practice during the Sunday School hour and sing at worship occasionally. Call the church office or speak with our Music Director for more information.

As much as we love to sing traditional hymns along with the organ, we also love to shake our maracas, bang our tambourines, and shout out to the Lord. Our praise team leads us in singing contemporary Christian music and accompanies us with guitar, keyboard, and drums. This blend of rhythm and rhyme creates a rollicking, revivalist air of excitement in worship.
Every summer our choirs take a vacation and we enjoy special music from a variety of different sources: traditional gospel music, contemporary rock and soul, classical piano even the occasional harp! This variety keeps our year interesting and our worship always new.
